Virtual stats confusion

Does anyone know how to interpret the “performance stats” that show up under teams in virtual cricket? They look like real stats but clearly aren’t. I’m not sure if they represent past simulations or just generated probabilities. Would appreciate any clarity.

Good question because those stats confuse a lot of people at first. Most platforms mix simulated history with weighted probabilities, so what you’re seeing isn’t the equivalent of real-world standings. Instead, it’s more like a representation of how the engine expects each team to perform based on internal logic. Some teams get “aggressive batting bias,” others get “stable bowling bias.” If you want to decode them properly, look for guides explaining how these engines generate those numbers. This is what I use —https://cricketholicpk.com — they break down how to interpret virtual team stats without overthinking it. Once you understand what each type of stat actually reflects, the whole thing becomes much more intuitive. After that, you’ll start noticing patterns and using those numbers to your advantage.
