Memorizing therapeutic models

I have to memorize so many different therapeutic models and diagnostic criteria for my boards. Does anyone have a strategy for keeping them all straight without getting them mixed up?

It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of theories, but you don't need to be a walking encyclopedia—you need to know how to apply them. Instead of rote memorization, try building comparative charts for yourself. I found it incredibly helpful to supplement that with the practice questions at https://www.simplytests.com/exams/behavioral-health When you encounter a question that forces you to choose between models, it helps you identify the nuanced differences in practice. It turns the study process into a logical exercise rather than a boring memorization task.
